The 2022 DF Clinical Symposium (CS) is the national medical education event that attracts dermatologists, residents, and non-physician clinicians seeking a serious, in-depth educational experience. Now in its 19th year, this peer-reviewed continuing medical education program delivers cutting-edge talks from today’s specialty experts on every aspect of dermatology.
“A big thank you for all the efforts and protocols to ensure attendee safety. This was my first in-person meeting since the DFCS in 2020 and I would not have felt comfortable without the protocols in place.”
Held from February 2-5 in Naples, Florida, participation was high despite the current pandemic. Meeting-specific procedures were in place to ensure participants’ and speakers’ health and safety.
Mark Denis P. Davis, MD delivered the keynote “The Curious Syndrome of Erythromelalgia: Red Hot Legs and Nerves on Fire”, in which he provided insights into the management of this chronic syndrome.
Concurrent breakout sessions covering topics as diverse as “Pediatric Morphea (Yvonne E. Chiu, MD), “HIV Dermatology” (Esther E. Freeman, MD, PhD), and “Lessons from Tumor Board” (Kishwer S. Nehal, MD). An additional 4 mini-symposia—“The Skin and Beyond”, “Pearls”, “Case-Based Dermatology”, “News of the World”, as well as Therapeutic Updates, gave CS attendees much to choose from to advance their knowledge of dermatology.
There was so much to choose from at this year's event you may have had to skip some sessions. Not to worry. In the coming weeks, we'll be posting summaries of the 2022 plenary sessions on a regular basis.
